iOS and Android more secure than your PC
By Ricky Mauch

Symantec has made a research and found out that both iOS and Android devices are more secured than your PC, security wise. They have released their study comparing both iOS and Android's security measures. It shows that both mobile OS' are more secured against security breaches when compared to home PCs. Though, they were not able to justify which is better between the 2 mobile OS. You be the judge! According to Symantec, iOS is more secure than Android when it comes to protecting your mobiles against mill malware. This is due to that every iOS app submits an application for inclusion in the App Store. It is simply because iOS devices are NOT open systems like the Androids. However, this doesn't apply if you have jailbroken your device, for the high wall that protects the iOS device will be gone upon jailbreaking and the malware will infest iOS the same as it would an Android device. Android is an open source OS, and the protection against malwares is to be provided by developers who must also be make sure that they are not downloading an infection. Symantec has concluded that iOS is best when it comes to "resisting malware attacks, resource abuse/service attacks, data loss and data integrity attacks." Android is better when it comes to specific security features.
