It?s amazing how much really awsome and talented people exists in this world! One of them is James Whelton, a developer and a hacker who managed to hack iPod Nano. James Whelton figured out how to remove apps from iPod Nano and insert a blank spaces into the Springboard instead of installed apps. He managed to bypass Nano?s cache comparison which gave him an opportunity to uninstall apps. He also noticed references in iPod Nanos OS to such great thins as Movies, TV Shows, Apps, vCard and Calendar events. We hope that he will be able to unlock this awesome features in future. It?s a mistake to think that iPod Nano is already jailbroken, it was only hacked. The hacker did not get ?root? access to the device and he didn?t install an app, he just found an exploit that may lead to a jailbreak in future. We will be waiting for new results from him.
