PrintCentral - 11/14/2010 PrintCentral is pretty obvious, an iPad app that is made for printing purposes. Its main use is to make it easier for many people to print the files that they want to print as quickly as possible. It cuts down time that users waste for logging on to their computer; opening their files and printing in the conventional way like many of us accustomed of. Of course, as with many applications the idea of this app sounds is really great, but a lot of applications are never really as good is gets as they claim to be.
However, this is certainly not the case with PrintCentral, as this app seems to be one of the best designed apps for printing that I have seen so far. The app is well designed in the sense that the user interface is extremely simple. Even if you have not used an app like this for the iPad or iPhone devices before, you are sure to get a hang of it quite easily and almost straight away and you will be printing your files from your iPad in no time. You'll see a list of your files on the left hand side of the screen, while on the right hand side of the screen you will get a preview of whichever file you want to print or you just selected. It's like a print preview to give you an idea how it?s going to be printed before sending it to the printer. The menu bar is located along the bottom of the screen and has a variety of different options, like the print button of course.
Like other iPad apps, this seems to have lots of features and one of these features is that you will have the ability to open attachments from the Apple Mail app that is pre-installed on the iPad and print them using this app. You can also print various web pages and can access your MobileMe account and print files that are located on that. However, there are a few file types that this app doesn't support. However, most of the basic file types are supported such as Word documents, PDF files, .txt files, image files and many others.
Overall, this is yet another extremely useful tool for the iPad and will really make printing documents easy. The app is available from the App Store for just $9.99. Featured Cell Phone NewsLatest Cell Phone NewsCustomer Comments |
