Samsung drops lawsuit against Apple
By Ricky Mauch

Samsung has decided to drop their lawsuit against Apple. According to Bloomberg, the Samsung's patent infringement lawsuit that the company filed against Apple, has been dropped and as per company spokesman Nam Ki Yung, this action was taken in order to "streamline" the proceedings. Apple started this lawsuit scheme, by suing Samsung, in which they claim that the Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets are just clones of the Apple iPhone and the iPad. Samsung countersued though, and both firms demanded to see each others products. The bad thing is that, only Apple was allowed to look at the already released Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 10.1, while the court denied Samsung's request to see the Apple iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Samsung wants to make sure that Apple is not infringing on any of its patents in the making of the two devices, and that' why they filed the lawsuit, in which they decided to drop not just to give up or what not, for they said that they will continue their fight through a counterclaim made against Apple in an earlier suit filed in San Jose.
